ABOUT MARGARET

Margaret began her career as a Makeup Artist in 2011, receiving comprehensive training from leading experts at the renowned CMU College of Makeup Art & Design, specializing in Fashion, Bridal, Theatre, Film & Television Makeup, Prosthetics, and Creature Design.

She proceeded to work as a freelance Makeup Artist in Toronto for 7 years, honing her skills working on projects such as Editorials, Burlesque Shows, Fashion Events, and Weddings, as well as accumulating 8 years of experience in Cosmetic Retail and Retail Management.

In 2021, Margaret advanced her career by training with Permanent Makeup industry experts, Mini Na and her team from 'MINI BROW' in Toronto, and Chay Liddell from 'Poke and Stroke' in British Columbia. She has since acquired 5 certifications for Cosmetic Tattooing, in addition to her Makeup Artistry qualifications.

Margaret discovered a new passion for utilizing her Makeup Artistry background to create a lasting impact on her clients' confidence and went on to open Clove Studio, an establishment that reflects her artistic spirit and offers an inclusive, fun, and creative atmosphere. Her team of artists aims to provide a comfortable environment for clients to receive their desired services while focusing on quality and attention to detail.
